Overview
The LBTQ20-3 series coating thickness gauge adopts magnetic and eddy current thickness measurement methods, which can nondestructive measurement magnetic metal matrix (such as steel, iron, alloy and hard magnetic steel, etc.) nonmagnetic coating thickness (such as aluminum, chromium, copper, enamel, rubber, paints, etc.) and nonmagnetic metal matrix (such as copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, etc.) nonconductive coating thickness (such as enamel, rubber, paints, plastics, etc.). This instrument is widely used in Eletroplating, anti-corrosion, Aerospace, chemical, automotive, shipbuilding, light industry, commodity inspection and other testing fields.
Features
1. Various probes (F400, F05, F1, F3, F3 high temperature, F1/90 °, F5, F10, N1, N400, N3, N05, etc.) can be used for measurement
2. Three calibration methods: one point calibrated, two point calibrated, basic calibrated
3. Display resolution: 0.1um below 1250um, 1um above 1250um
4. With four statistical functions: MAX Maximum (MAX), MIN Minimum (MIN), Average (MEA), measurement number (No)
5. Set up five statistics and store 500 pieces of data
Principle
LBTQ20-3 series coating thickness gauges use magnetic and eddy current thickness measurement methods. The magnetic method is used to measure the thickness of the nonmagnetic coating layer on the magnetic metal substrate by detecting the change of magnetoresistance; the eddy current method is used to measure the thickness of the nonconductive coating layer on the nonmagnetic metal substrate, based on the principle of eddy current effect.
Applications
Eletroplating, Anticorrosion, Aerospace, Chemical, Automotive, Shipbuilding, Light Industry, Commodity Inspection
Steps
1. Select the appropriate probe and install it
2. Select the calibration method (one point calibrated, two point calibrated or basic calibrated) according to the measurement requirements for instrument calibration
3. Place the probe vertically on the surface of the tested object for measurement
4. Read the thickness value on the display
5. View statistical function data (MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum, Average, measurement times)
Notice
• Measurement range: 0-1500um, error range is +/- (3% H + 1) um, H is the actual thickness of the measured object
• Operating Environment Temperature: 0~ 40 ℃, F3 High Temperature Probe Operating Temperature 0-300 ℃
• The power supply uses two AA alkaline batteries of 1.5V
• Machine weight: 300g, external size: 150 × 80 × 30mm
• Make sure that the probe is in vertical contact with the measured surface during measurement
• Regularly calibrate instruments to ensure Measurement accuracy
