The Defelsko PosiTector 6000 F3 Coating thickness gauge is an advanced Coating thickness gauge from the Positector 6000 series with Data storage function, which can store 250,000 data. Using a high contrast ratio reversible LCD screen, it can display the measurement of Coating thickness and real-time graphics in real time, which is convenient for Data analysis. The thickness measurement range is 0 to 1500 microns, which is suitable for nonmagnetic coating measurement on ferrous metal substrates.

Principle
The PosiTector 6000 F3 Coating thickness gauge uses the principle of magnetic Induction for measurement. The thickness of nonmagnetic coatings on ferrous metal substrates is detected by Probe. The instrument accurately calculates the Coating thickness through the change of magnetic Induction signal and displays the results on the screen in real time.

Steps
1. Install 3 AAA alkaline batteries
2. Power on and select the system language (Chinese or English)
3. Place the F3 Probe vertically on the coating surface of the ferrous metal substrate
4. Read real-time thickness data and graphics on the display
5. Use Touchscreen for data grouping and storage management
6. Connect the computer via USB or Bluetooth and export the data using PosiSoft software

• Only for nonmagnetic coating measurements on ferrous metal substrates (steel, iron, etc.)
• Probe in vertical contact with the coating surface during measurement
• Regularly calibrate instruments using Defelsko calibrated STDS1 and STDA1
• Avoid use in extreme temperatures or Humidity environments
• Pay attention to battery power and replace it in time to ensure Measurement accuracy
• Pay attention to group management when storing data for subsequent Data analysis
