Overview
The SHS-1 Shore hardness tester measurement stand is an accessory of the AMITTARI brand, which is used to cooperate with the Shore hardness tester to measure the hardness value of rubber. The upper end of the stand is equipped with a special fixed load weight. The test force is applied on the central axis of the hardness gauge through the frame, so that the hardness gauge is stably pressed on the sample, thereby effectively improving the accuracy and stability of rubber hardness measurement. This frame can be configured with eight models of AMITTARI Shore hardness tester, including A, B, C, D, DO, E, O, and 00.
Features
1. Configure a special fixed load weight to ensure that the applied test force is accurate and stable.
2. Effectively improve the accuracy of rubber hardness measurement.
3. Strong compatibility, can be configured with AMITTARI brand A type, B type, C type, D type, DO type, E type, O type, 00 type and other eight Shore hardness testers.
4. Designed to make the hardness gauge press firmly on the sample to reduce human error.
Principle
The Working Principle of SHS-1 Shore hardness tester measurement bench is to apply a standard test force by configuring a fixed load weight on the central axis of the hardness gauge pressure needle through the frame structure. When in use, press down the operating handle, so that the hardness gauge under the action of weight gravity, press the pressure needle into the tested rubber sample at a stable and vertical pressure. When the pressure foot is in full contact with the surface of the sample, read the hardness value displayed by the hardness gauge at a specified time, so as to obtain relatively stable and accurate measurement results.
Applications
Rubber hardness measurement
Steps
1. Stably connect the hardness gauge with the connecting hole at the lower part of the hardness gauge clamping rod.
2. Place the attachment hardness gauge Encasement in the hardness gauge on the Glass work surface.
3. Press down the operating handle, so that the hardness block is pressed down under the action of the fixed load weight, align the pressure needle of the hardness gauge and enter the hole of the measuring block, until the hardness gauge pressure foot is in complete contact with the plane of the measuring block. At this time, check whether the hardness gauge value indicates that the hardness measurement hole is within the marking hardness +/- 1. If not, the indication can be adjusted to within 100 +/- 1 through the two adjustment nuts under the Glass table.
4. If the hardness gauge block is not configured, press down the operating handle so that the hardness gauge is pressed on the working table under the action of the fixed load weight, so that the hardness gauge is in full contact with the plane of the Glass table. At this time, the hardness gauge value should be indicated within 100 +/- 1. If it does not meet, it can be adjusted by the adjustment nut under the Glass table.
5. Place the test sample on the Glass bench.
6. Press down the operating handle, under the action of the fixed load weight, so that the hardness gauge is in full contact with the tested sample.
7. Read the hardness value at the specified time: the reading time of thermal plasticity rubber is 15 seconds, and the reading time of vulcanized rubber or unknown type rubber is 3 seconds; the microporous material is read within 1 second after the hardness gauge is completely in contact with the test sample and subjected to the test load. If Miscellaneous test time is used, it should be stated in the test report.
Notice
• The fixed load weight of this rack configuration only matches the hardness gauge of AMITTARI company. Please adjust the total weight mass as required when installing the Miscellaneous brand hardness gauge.
• When testing with this rack, ensure that the environment is free of vibration, and the hardness gauge should be pressed against the specimen at a maximum speed of not more than 3.2 mm/s.
• For the requirements and adjustment of the sample during testing, it should be carried out in accordance with the corresponding standards of the sample.
