Principle
The probe emits high-frequency ultrasonic pulses, which enter the coating through the coupling agent. When encountering the coating interface of different densities, part of the ultrasonic wave will be reflected as a new ultrasonic pulse, and the other part will pass through. The new ultrasonic pulse returns to the Probe and is received by the Sensor. After instrument processing, the propagation time of ultrasonic waves in the coating is obtained, and the coating thickness is calculated.
