Overview
HS-B type digital display B type rubber hardness gauge is suitable for Hardness measurement of medium Hardness rubber, thermal plasticity resilience, paper products, fiber materials, especially for hardness of materials > 90HA, < 20HD occasions. The hardness gauge can be used in hand or with a fixed load test bench. Equipped with a special host computer software to connect to a computer, it can realize data storage, analysis, export, query and printing functions, and is widely used in mass testing, physical experiments, engineering testing and other fields.
Features
1. LCD display, intuitive reading.
2. With real-time mode, it can display real-time changes in Hardness value.
3. With peak mode, Hardness peak can be recorded during the test.
4. With automatic timing mode, the test process force holding time can be set (such as vulcanized rubber 3s, thermal plasticity rubber 15s).
5. With average mode, the number of trials can be set.
6. Equipped with automatic shutdown function.
7. Equipped with Chinese WINDOWS interface host computer software, rich in functions:
- The test results are displayed with multiple coordinates: real-time Hardness value - time, Hardness peak - number of times, and timed Hardness value - number of times.
- With qualified judgment function, it can be automatically judged according to the qualified range of the preset Standard value.
- Test data and Linear dispersion are automatically stored to the computer with unlimited storage.
Test data can be queried and exported to Excel format.
Test reports can be prepared and printed according to user requirements.
Principle
The hardness gauge is implemented according to the American ASTM D2240 standard and corresponds to the Type B hardness gauge. By measuring the depth or displacement of the pressure pin pressed into the material under a specific test force, it is calculated by the internal Sensor and processor, and finally displayed on the digital display screen in the form of Hardness Value (HB).
Applications
Mass inspection, physical experiment, engineering test
Standards
American ASTM D2240 standard
Steps
1. Set the appropriate force holding time according to the type of material being tested (e.g. vulcanized rubber, thermal plasticity rubber).
2. Select Measurement mode (e.g. real-time, peak, average).
3. Press the hardness gauge needle vertically to the surface of the material to be tested.
4. Maintain a steady pressure until the end of the set time or the peak lock.
5. Read the Hardness value displayed on the LCD screen.
6. If data management is required, the hardness gauge can be connected to the computer through the cable, and the upper computer software can be used for Data storage, analysis, export or printing.
Notice
- This hardness gauge is suitable for the measurement of hardness of materials > 90HA and < 20HD.
- Make sure the pin is perpendicular to the material surface during measurement.
Equipped with a fixed-load test bench, more stable test results can be obtained.
Make sure the battery is fully charged before use.
- Do not use beyond Measurement range or in extreme environments.
- Regularly clean the pressure needle to ensure measurement accuracy.
