Overview
HS-E type digital display E type rubber hardness gauge is suitable for Hardness measurement of medium hard body, rubber or microporous material, such as industrial rubber roller, sealing strip, sole, harder resilience body, etc., especially suitable for thin or curved samples. Hardness of materials > 90HA, < 20HD recommended to use this model. The hardness gauge can be used handheld, can also be used with a fixed load test bench, and can be connected to a computer through a special host computer software for data storage, analysis, export, query and printing functions.
Features
1. LCD display, intuitive reading.
2. With real-time mode, it can display real-time changes in Hardness value.
3. With peak mode, Hardness peak can be recorded during the test.
4. With automatic timing mode, the force retention time can be set (e.g. 3 seconds or 15 seconds).
5. With average mode, the number of tests can be set.
6. Equipped with automatic shutdown function.
7. Equipped with dedicated host computer software, with a Chinese WINDOWS interface.
8. The host computer Software supports a variety of coordinate Linear dispersion display: real-time Hardness value - time, Hardness peak - times, Timed Hardness value - times.
9. The host computer software has a qualified judgment function, which can be automatically judged according to the preset Standard value range.
10. The host computer Software supports the automatic storage of test data and Linear dispersion, and the number is unlimited.
11. Software supports data query and export to excel format.
12. Software supports the preparation and printing of test reports according to user requirements.
Principle
This hardness gauge is implemented in accordance with the American ASTM D2240 standard, corresponding to the Type E hardness gauge. Hardness values are displayed directly on the LCD screen by measuring the depth or rebound height of the pressure pin pressed into the sample under a specific test force, calculated by the internal Sensor and processor.
Applications
Mass inspection, physical experiment, engineering test
Standards
American ASTM D2240
Steps
1. Choose a handheld or matching fixed-load test bench according to the sample.
2. Power on and select the desired test mode (e.g. real-time, peak, auto-chronograph, or average mode).
3. If using the automatic timing mode, set the required force retention time.
4. Press the hardness gauge needle vertically to the surface of the sample.
5. Read the Hardness value displayed on the LCD screen or wait for the device to automatically record the result.
6. If data management is required, data can be transferred online to the computer, and stored, analyzed, exported or printed using dedicated host computer software.
Notice
* This hardness gauge is suitable for hardness of materials > 90HA, < 20HD samples.
For thinner or curved specimens, this model is more suitable.
Make sure that the stylus acts vertically on the specimen surface.
* Correctly set the force holding time according to the material type (e.g. vulcanized rubber or thermal plasticity rubber).
Please confirm that the battery is fully charged before use.
When using the upper computer software, please ensure that the computer system is compatible.
