Overview
DR120 Coating thickness gauge is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction and according to the national industry GB/T4956-2003 standard, it can quickly, non-destructive and precise measurement of the thickness of magnetic metal surface coating platings. It can nondestructive measurement of the thickness of nonmagnetic coatings on magnetic metal substrates (such as steel, iron, nickel) (such as paints, Electrophoresis, enamel, rubber, powder, enamel, anti-corrosion layer, galvanized, chromium, etc.). The instrument is exquisite and compact, and the metal probe is used to make the field test more stable and firm.

Principle

Steps
1. Measurement mode: CONTINUE or SINGLE Measurement mode
2. Calibrate: You can choose zero point calibrate or two point calibrate
3. Probe placed on the test surface for measurement
4. View measurement results, the instrument provides statistical functions (MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum, Average)
5. Data can be stored or read out through communication via a connected computer
Notice
• Ensure that the measurement surface is not less than 18 * 15mm
• Note the minimum radius of curvature: convex 5mm, concave 25mm
• The thickness of the substrate should not be less than 0.4mm.
• Pay attention to the low voltage indicator and replace the battery in time
• Measurement accuracy calibrated before use
