Overview
The Dutch TQC VF2110 double-channel Fineness Gauge is a Grindometer with a Measurement range of 0~ 15μm and a Measurement accuracy of +/- 2 μm. The product is made of Swiss high-quality stainless steel, with wear and corrosion resistance and a double groove design.
Features
1. The drawdown blade is made of hardened stainless steel, the surface is smooth and easy to maintain, and it can be operated by hand
2. Double groove design, with three parameters of micron, Hegman, and North slope, which belongs to the graded slope design
3. Can measure the fineness of paints, Coatings, pigments, raw materials, plastics, Printing inks and other materials
4, in chocolate, ceramics, paper, food and other industries can also be used for product fineness detection
Principle
During the pigment fineness detection process, the pigment needs to be ground into finer particles for dispersion. The physical properties of the dispersion are called "fineness", which depends on the actual size and degree of dispersion of the particles. The pigment fineness can be quickly measured by using pigment Fineness Gauge.
Applications
Paints, Coatings, pigments, raw materials, plastics, Printing inks, chocolate, ceramics, paper, food
Standards
ASTM D1210、ASTM D1316、DIN 53203、DIN EN ISO NF21524、FTMS 141 a、M.4411.1、NF T 30-046、ASTM D1084、ISO 1524、ГОСТ 6589
Steps
1. Wash the scraper and drawdown blade with the specified solvent and dry them with cotton yarn
2. Fully mix the sample that meets the standard viscosity of the product with a blender
3. Drop a few drops of the sample into the deepest part of the Grindometer groove
4. The drawdown blade is perpendicular to the surface of the scraper and scrapes from the deep to the shallow part of the groove at a suitable speed
5. Immediately tilt the transverse pinch fineness meter at an angle of 15-30 degrees to observe the scale value of the particles uniformly exposed in the trench
Notice
• Reading should be done within 5 seconds after scraping
• The line of sight should be at a 15-30 degree angle to the groove plane
• The sample should be able to fill the groove with a slight excess
• When scraping, the drawdown blade should be perpendicular to the surface of the scraper
• There should be no excess paint left on the plate after scraping
