Overview
The OSP-42 L1875φ 16 formed wire scraper is a stainless steel film tool manufactured by cold extrusion technology. It achieves Spreader by machining concave-convex wavy Linear dispersion on the surface of the steel rod, effectively replacing the traditional wire-wound Mayer Rods. The product has a wet film thickness of 42µm, a main rod diameter of 16mm, an effective Spreader width of 1875mm, a total length of 1875mm, and is made of 304 stainless steel.
Features
1. Adopting cold extrusion processing technology, there is no winding of steel wire on the surface, completely eliminating the risk of loose or broken steel wire.
2. Linear dispersion lubrication smooth surface, very easy to clean, not easy to block.
3. Breaking through the limits of traditional Mayer Rods, it can perform ultra-thin film Spreader, with a minimum wet film thickness of up to 2 µm.
4. Different mountain types (such as standard S type, left and right spiral combination, square eye pattern, etc.) can be selected according to the substrate and coating liquid to solve various problems in Spreader processing, such as reducing bubble mixing.
5. Mountain bottom is wider than traditional wire scrapers and usually provides greater Coating Weight.
Principle
The formed steel wire scrapers utilize the principle of plastic deformation of metals to cold-extrude a specific concave and convex wavy Linear dispersion (mountain type) on the surface of the steel rod through a precision mold. When Spreader, these Linear dispersion structures play the same role as traditional wire-wrapped bars, controlling and transferring coatings to form a wet-film coating of predetermined film thickness on the substrate.
Applications
Spreader Processing, Ultra-thin Film Spreader, Calender Roller Processing
Steps
1. Choose the appropriate OSP scraper model according to the desired wet film thickness (e.g. 42 µm) and Spreader conditions.
2. Install the scraper on the Spreader device to ensure stability.
3. Spreader the paint in front of the scraper.
4. Spreader by pushing or pulling the scraper at uniform speed and pressure.
5. After the Spreader is completed, clean the scraper in time.
Notice
• Product pictures are for reference only. Appearance is subject to the actual product.
• When cleaning, the appropriate cleaning agent and method (e.g. wiping after soaking in alcohol) can be selected according to the nature of the coating (e.g. aqueous synthetic resin coating) to ensure the cleaning effect.
• When selecting a model, refer to the selection comparison table to comprehensively consider the wire diameter, tooth shape parameters (such as P, H values) and volume.
• Note that the traditional wire drawdown blade is easy to loosen, not easy to clean, and cannot be super-thin film Spreader. This product has been improved for these problems.
