Overview
The Japanese OSP-42/60 coating rod is a professional film tool, mainly used for color correction and color blending of Paints projects. Through this coating rod, Paints can be scraped on the substrate to prepare film samples, accurately control the 42 μm wet film thickness, and prepare uniform coating for color contrast. It can be converted into dry-film thickness according to Solid content.
Features
1. Precise control of 42μm wet film thickness
2. Uniform preparation coating
3.304 stainless steel material is durable
4. Precision formed production process
5. Solid content can be converted according to dry-film thickness
Principle
The OSP-42/60 coating rod adopts a formed production process. Through the precisely designed rod structure and 42 μm gap, a uniform wet-film coating is formed when scraping the surface of the substrate. When using, the Paints are placed in front of the rod and scraped on the surface of the substrate at a certain angle and pressure to obtain a film sample with precise thickness and uniform distribution.
Applications
Paints engineering, color correction, color blending, film sample preparation
Steps
1. Prepare Paints and Substrates to be Tested
2. Paints placed in front of the coating rod
3. Scrape the surface of the substrate at the appropriate angle and pressure
4. Obtain uniform film samples
5. Color contrast analysis after film drying
Notice
• Make sure the coating rod is clean and drying before use
• Maintain uniform pressure and speed when scraping
• Adjust the scraping angle according to the characteristics of Paints
• Clean and maintain in time after use
• Avoid collision damage to coating rod precision structure
