Principle
PosiTector 6000 N0S3 using eddy Current thickness measurement principle, by Probe eddy current effect on a non-ferrous metal substrate to measure the thickness of nonconductive coatings.
Applications
Coating thickness measurement on nonconductive substrates
Standards
ISO 2178/2360/2808、PrEN ISO 19840、ASTM B499/D1186/D1400/D7091/E376/G12、BS3900-C5、SSPC-PA2
Steps
1. Install 3 * AAA alkaline battery
2. Select the system language (Chinese or English)
3. Use N0S3 Probe for measurement
4. View measurement results through Touchscreen
5. Use statistical functions to analyze data
6. Transfer data via USB or Bluetooth
7. Use PosiSoft software for data processing
Notice
• Only for nonconductive coating measurements on non-ferrous metal substrates
• Confirm that the battery is sufficient before use
• Probe should be kept in vertical contact with the measured surface during measurement
• Regularly calibrate with Defelsko STDS2 and STDA2
• Note that the Instrument Protection Rating is IP65, avoid using beyond the protection range
• Pay attention to group management when storing measurement data
