Overview
The HCH-3000E/E is a High Accuracy Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge that integrates transmit-echo mode and echo-echo mode. The instrument adopts the integrated system technology of single chip microcomputer and CPLD, and has the characteristics of low power consumption, strong penetration, stable indication, high detection accuracy and user-friendly Operating interface. Principle
This Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge performs thickness measurement based on the propagation time of ultrasonic pulses in a material. In pulse-echo mode, the instrument emits ultrasonic pulses and receives echoes of reflection from the bottom surface of the material, determining thickness by calculating the round-trip time of the sound wave and the Speed of sound from the material. In echo-echo mode, the instrument receives two echoes of reflection from the bottom surface of the material, and measures the net thickness of the substrate by calculating the time difference between the two echoes. Suitable for material measurement with coatings.

Steps
1. Select the standard mode (pulse-echo) or coating mode (echo-echo) according to the measurement requirements.
2. Set or reverse measure the Speed of sound according to the tested material.
3. Attach the Probe to the surface of the tested material.
4. Sensitivity optimization and measurement are performed automatically, and the thickness value is read and displayed.
5. Optionally use MIN Minimum Scan, Difference Mode or Set Alarm threshold for measurement.
6, manually store measurement data, and can be grouped management.
7. Data communication or printout can be performed by connecting to a PC.
Notice
• Measurement range is affected by the Probe used, the material to be tested and the surface condition, the standard mode is 0.8~ 500mm, and the coating mode is 3.0~ 20mm.
• Ensure that the Probe is well coupled to the material surface for accurate measurement.
• Ambient Temperature -10~ 60 ℃, relative humidity < 90% RH.
• Measurement errors are related to resolution and thickness, please pay attention to accuracy requirements when using.
• Data storage is manual, please pay attention to save important data in time.
