Overview
Kedian MC-3000D Coating thickness gauge is a split structure paint film thickness measurement instrument. It adopts the principle of magnetic thickness measurement to facilitate the nondestructive measurement of the thickness of nonmagnetic platings on ferromagnetic materials (such as steel), such as zinc, copper, chromium, paints, enamel, frp, rubber, spray, asphalt, etc. The instrument uses unique deviation automatic tracking technology to improve Measurement accuracy. Probe processes and uses new alloy materials according to German process standards, which significantly improves service life and accuracy.
Features
1. Measurement mode: normal mode, MIN Minimum mode, statistical mode.
2. Support Monitoring Measurement mode, can set the difference and upper and lower limit alarm.
3. Flexible data management: individual data, a group of data, or all data can be deleted.
4. Adjustment comprehensive: support zero point calibrating, two point calibrating and system calibrating.
5. Rich system settings: shutdown mode, backlight switch and factory reset can be set.
6. Support printing function: can print stored values or statistical values.
7. Large-capacity group storage: a total of 6 groups, each group can store 100 measurement points, and can be viewed in groups.
8. Adopt 6-key waterproof and oil-proof keyboard to adapt to complex working environment.
Principle
The TEC MC-3000D Coating thickness gauge works on the principle of magnetic Induction. When a Probe approaches a ferromagnetic material, its magnetic circuit changes due to the presence of nonmagnetic platings on the surface. The instrument detects this magnetic circuit change to accurately calculate the thickness of nonmagnetic platings.
Applications
Steel surface galvanizing, copper plating, chrome plating measurement, paints coating, enamel coating, frp coating, rubber coating, spray coating, asphalt coating thickness measurement
Steps
1. According to the measurement requirements, select the normal mode, MIN Minimum mode or statistical mode.
2. If you need to monitor, enter the Monitoring Measurement mode and set the difference and upper and lower limit alarm values.
3. Perform zero point calibrating, two point calibrating or system calibrating to ensure measurement accuracy.
4. Place the split Probe on the surface of the coating to be tested for measurement.
5. After measurement, you can manually store the data to the specified group (6 groups, 100 points each).
6. Individual data, group data, or all data stored can be viewed and deleted through the instrument.
7. Connect the printer to output stored values or statistical values (MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum, Average).
8. After use, turn off the instrument according to the settings (manual or automatic).
Notice
This instrument is suitable for the measurement of the thickness of nonmagnetic platings on ferromagnetic materials.
• Measurement accuracy should be calibrated as needed before use.
• Ambient Temperature 0~ 40 ℃, relative humidity ≤ 90% RH, please use in the specified environment.
• Probes are precision parts, please avoid bumping or contact with corrosion substances.
• Pay attention to the battery voltage prompt and replace the battery in time to ensure normal use.
• Data storage is manual, please pay attention to save important measurement results in time.
• Although the keyboard is waterproof and oil-proof, it should still be avoided from long-term immersion or contact with large amounts of liquid.
