Principle
The PosiTector 6000 NS1 Coating thickness gauge uses the eddy Current thickness measurement principle, which is suitable for non-ferrous metal substrates and nonconductive coating environments. The eddy Current is generated by Probe to measure Coating thickness with a resolution of 0.1 micron.
Applications
Non-ferrous metal substrate, nonconductive coating environment
Standards
ISO 2178/2360/2808、PrEN ISO 19840、ASTM B499/D1186/D1400/D7091/E376/G12、BS3900-C5、SSPC-PA2
Steps
1. Install 3 AAA alkaline batteries
2. Power on and select the system language (Chinese or English).
3. Take measurements with the NS1 Probe and get more than 60 readings per minute
4. Browse 250 stored readings with a 2.8-inch color Touchscreen
5. Use the USB interface to connect to the PC to download the data.
6. Utilize supporting software for data management and analysis
Notice
• Only suitable for non-ferrous metal substrates and nonconductive coating environments
• Make sure the battery is fully charged before use
Measurement accuracy is regularly calibrated using Defelsko calibrated STDS1 and STDA1
Avoid use in extreme environments to protect the instrument
When storing data, be careful not to exceed the capacity of 250 readings
