The Defelsko PosiTector 6000 FS1 Coating thickness gauge is a high-end thickness gauge imported from the United States. It adopts a split structure and belongs to the Positector6000 series standard type. The instrument can record 1000 readings, and the host can freely split and replace the Probe, which is suitable for different test environments. Widely used in paints Coating, chemical machinery, Eletroplating, Electronics and other industries.

Principle
The Coating thickness gauge uses the magnetic Induction Measurement principle to achieve accurate measurement by detecting thickness changes of nonmagnetic coatings on ferrous metal substrates.

Steps
1. Install 3 AAA alkaline batteries
2. Select the appropriate Probe to connect to the host as required
3. Power on and select the system language
4. Probe placed vertically on the surface of the coating to be tested for measurement
5. View measurement results and statistics with Touchscreen
6. Connect to the computer using the USB port and download the stored measurement data through the PosiSoft software suite

Only for nonmagnetic coating measurements on ferrous metal substrates
• Probe in vertical contact with the coating surface during measurement
• Periodically calibrated for Measurement accuracy
• Avoid use in extreme temperatures or Humidity environments
• Clean Probe Surface After Use
