Overview
Sheet Burst Tester is a LABO brand model 16031 product used to test the Burst Strength of various Tobacco flakes. The instrument consists of a built-in measurement and control system and an LCD touch display to display Burst Strength Linear dispersion and test results. Designed to meet the test standards of paper, Cardboard, Corrugated Board, aluminum foil and Spinning & weaving products, it is suitable for materials such as single-layer paper, multi-layer paper and aluminum foil, but not for composites such as Corrugated Board or Padded Cardboard.

Principle
Burst Tester works according to the Mullen test principle: silicone oil is injected into the film through the piston, the film bulges deform the sample, the pressure continues to increase, and the final sample breaks. The maximum pressure applied is the Burst Strength of the sample. The design mainly meets the requirements of test standards such as paper, Cardboard, Corrugated Board, aluminum foil and Spinning & weaving products.

Steps
1. Prepare the sample and place it in the chuck.
2. Set sample information and test parameters through Touchscreen.
3. Start the automatic test, and the instrument injects silicone oil through the piston to make the film bulge, causing the sample to deform until it breaks.
4. The system automatically records the maximum pressure value as Burst Strength and displays Linear dispersion and results.
5. Test results can be uploaded to the Labo-DMS system via printing or WIFI, RS232.

• Ensure that the instrument passes factory verification before use to ensure Reliability and accuracy.
• Avoid putting your hands in the chuck during testing to prevent personal injury.
• Be aware that the film may rupture and cause silicone oil to splash, and use a safety cover.
• Only suitable for materials such as single-layer paper, multi-layer paper and aluminum foil, not suitable for composites such as Corrugated Board or Padded Cardboard.
• Ensure that the gas source pressure is greater than 0.6MPa and the gas consumption is 0.4m ³/h.
• Regularly check the sealing of the system to ensure that the pressure drop is less than 10% Pmax within 1 minute.
• Optional WIFI or RS232 interface for data transmission, and optional experimental data management system for software.
