Overview
PUSHEN HGQ full set of single-edged Cross Hatch Cutter is a tool used to evenly draw a certain Dimensions square, and measure the adhesion of the film to the substrate by evaluating the integrity of the film in the square. It is mainly used for the determination of adhesion by the Coating cross-cut method, which is not only suitable for laboratories, but also for construction sites under various conditions.
Features
1. Provide a variety of cutter head specifications, including 1mm and 2mm spacing, to adapt to different paint film thicknesses.
2. The complete set is fully equipped, including Cross Hatch Cutter, 3M tape, brush, magnifying glass and Encasement box.
3. The number of teeth is 11, and the spacing can be 1mm or 2mm.
4. Handle made of hardwood, durable and easy to handle.
Principle
Cross Hatch Cutter by uniformly drawing a grid of certain Dimensions, evaluate the integrity of the film in the grid, thereby measuring the adhesion of the film to the substrate.
Applications
Coating cross-cut adhesion determination, laboratory, construction site
Standards
ISO 2409、ASTM D 3359、GB/T 9286
Steps
Select the appropriate cutter head according to the thickness of the paint film (1mm spacing is suitable for less than 60μm, 2mm spacing is suitable for 60 to 120μm).
2. Use Cross Hatch Cutter to evenly draw squares on the test strip.
3. Paste and tear off with 3M tape to check the integrity of the film.
4. Use magnifying glass to observe and evaluate adhesion.
Notice
• When selecting the cutter head, it should be matched according to the thickness of the paint film to avoid test errors caused by inapplicability.
• Ensure even cross-cutting during operation to achieve accurate results.
• Clean tools after use, keep the knife head sharp.
• Testing in accordance with relevant standards.
