Overview
The PUSHEN HGQ 1 * 5 full multi-blade Cross Hatch Cutter is a professional tool for Coating cross-cut adhesion determination, suitable for laboratories and construction sites. This model is 1mm * 25 grid size, with 1mm tooth spacing and 6 teeth, and is specially designed for hard substrates smaller than 60μm.
Features
1. The knife tooth spacing is 1mm, the number of knife teeth is 6, and the accurate cross-cut
2. Suitable for hard substrate specimens less than 60 μm
3. Full set includes Cross Hatch Cutter, 3M tape, brush, magnifying glass and Encasement box
4. Complies with ISO 2409, ASTM D 3359 international standards
5. Applicable to GB/T 9286 national standard requirements
Principle
Cross Hatch Cutter measures film adhesion to the substrate by uniformly drawing a grid of certain Dimensions and evaluating the integrity of the film in the grid. This method is based on observing the coating disbonding after cross-cutting to evaluate its adhesion performance.
Applications
Coating cross-cut adhesion determination, laboratory testing, construction site testing
Standards
ISO 2409、ASTM D 3359、GB/T 9286
Steps
1. Use Cross Hatch Cutter to evenly draw squares on the surface of the test piece
2. Clean the cross-cut area with a brush
3. Paste 3M tape and tear it off quickly
4. Use magnifying glass to observe the integrity of the film in the square
5. Assess adhesion grade according to film disbonding
Notice
• Only suitable for hard substrate specimens smaller than 60μm
• Keep the knife teeth clean and sharp during operation
• The tape pasting and tearing actions should be fast and consistent
• Different film thicknesses need to choose corresponding spacing Cross Hatch Cutter
• Test results should be evaluated in accordance with standard requirements
