Overview
YOKE VIS-722 visible spectrophotometer is an economical analytical instrument with high photometric accuracy. It is equipped with RS232 interface output, can be connected to a printer or computer, and is widely used in testing, food, petrochemical industry, environment protection and monitoring and many other fields.
Features
1. Numbers show measurement indications.
2. Automatic zero and automatic hundred.
3. The large sample chamber can accommodate 5-100mm Cuvettes.
4. Optional output port RS232 can be used to connect printers and computers.
5. Adopt original imported tungsten lamps to ensure the lifespan of the instrument.
6. The instrument uses reliable microcomputer processing technology and is easy to operate.
7, automatic light gate, to ensure the service life of the photoelectric Sensor, instrument testing is simpler.
Principle
The instrument works based on the principle of Spectrophotometric method, spectra-trophotometry. The composite light emitted by the Illuminant (tungsten lamp) is separated by a monochromator (using a color difference Czerny-Turner Optical inspection system, 1200L/mm grating) to obtain monochromatic light of a specific wavelength. After the monochromatic light passes through the sample solution, it is received by the photovoltaic sensor (Photocell, photovoltaic cell) and converted into an electrical signal. The built-in microcomputer processing system of the instrument processes the signal, and finally displays the measurement values such as transmittance (T), Absorbance (A) or concentration (C) of the sample in digital form.
Applications
Testing, food, petrochemical industry, environment protection and monitoring
Steps
1. Turn it on and warm up.
2. Use the [MODE] key to switch between A (Absorbance), T (Transmittance), C (concentration, need to enter or calculate F value), and F (input F value to measure concentration) modes.
3. Put in the reference solution and press the [?/100%] key to adjust the transmittance to 100% T or Absorbance 0.000A.
4. Put in the sample solution and read the measurement value.
5. To print or send data, you can use the [PC] key.
Notice
• The instrument should be placed on a stable, non-bright workbench.
• It needs to be preheated for a period of time after starting to reach a stable state.
• The Cuvette light-transmitting surface should be kept clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or stains when using.
• When measuring different samples, use the corresponding reference solution to zero or 100.
• After use, clean the sample room and turn off the power in time.
• When selecting the RS232 interface, please follow the instructions to connect the external device correctly.
