The OSP-50/60 coating rod is a professional film tool of the Japanese OSP brand. It is made of 304 stainless steel and achieves precise wet film thickness control through a formed production process. The product has three length specifications of 60mm, 250mm and 400mm, which correspond to different application widths and application scenarios.

Principle
The OSP-50/60 coating rod forms a uniform Spreader on the surface of the substrate through a formed process, and uses a precisely controlled rod gap and diameter to ensure a uniform wet film thickness of 50 μm during the Spreader process. When the coating rod rolls on the surface of the substrate, the Coating Flow rate is controlled through a preset gap to achieve accurate Spreader effect.

Steps
1. Choose the right length of coating rod
2. Prepare Substrate and Coatings for Spreader
3. Pour an appropriate amount of Coating on one end of the substrate
4. Handheld coating rod or fixed with matching handle
5. Push the coating rod from the Coating to the other end at uniform speed and pressure
6. Spreader cleaning coating rod

• Select the appropriate coating rod length according to the experimental requirements
• L60 and L250 models need to be equipped with additional handles.
• Clean immediately after use to avoid Coating residues
• Maintain uniform thrust and speed during operation
• Pay attention to the storage of coating rods to avoid collision and deformation
• Check whether the surface of the coating rod is flat and nondestructive before use
