Overview
IPRE PRCT320F Coating thickness gauge is an instrument using magnetic thickness measurement method for measuring film thickness of nonmagnetic coatings on magnetic metal substrates. The instrument has various functions such as wireless Bluetooth communication, voice broadcast, thermal printing and data storage, and is suitable for coating thickness detection in various industrial fields.

Principle
The instrument uses the principle of magnetic Induction for measurement. When the Probe contacts the surface of the coating under test, the instrument calculates the film thickness of the coating by measuring the change of magnetic flux or magnetoresistance caused by the presence of the nonmagnetic coating between the Probe and the magnetic metal substrate.

Steps
1. According to the measurement requirements, select single measurement or continuous measurement mode.
2. Place the Probe vertically on the surface of the coating to be tested.
3, trigger measurement, the instrument will automatically identify the Probe and make measurements.
4. The measurement results will be displayed through voice broadcast and LCD screen.
5. The measurement report can be output through Bluetooth connection or thermal printer.
6. The measurement data can be automatically stored, and the average value of historical data, MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum, Standard Deviation and other information can be viewed through the statistical function.
Notice
* Make sure that the Probe is connected to the instrument properly before measurement.
* Probe should be perpendicular to the measured surface and remain stable during measurement.
* It is recommended to calibrate according to the substrate material and expected Film thickness before measurement.
* Instrument Indication Error is related to the calibrating method, the one-point calibrating error is +/- (3% H + 1) μm, and the two-point calibrating error is +/- [( 1~ 3) % H + 1] μm.
* Ensure that the minimum measurement surface diameter of the measured area is not less than φ 7mm.
* When measuring curved workpieces, the minimum radius of curvature of the convex surface is 1.5mm.
* Film thickness of the tested substrate should not be less than 0.5mm.
* Please use the matching charger to charge the built-in rechargeable lithium battery.
* Avoid use in strong magnetic fields or extreme temperature environments.
* Probe surfaces are cleaned regularly to ensure measurement accuracy.
