Overview
ANDE QBB-50ML Density Cup is a 50ml stainless steel Density Cup, mainly used for testing the Density of liquids in coatings, inks, paints and other industries.
Features
1. The material is stainless steel, which is sturdy and durable.
2. The standard volume is 50ml, suitable for routine Density testing.
Principle
The Density Cup calculates the Density of the liquid by measuring the mass of the liquid to be tested in a known fixed volume (50ml) and combining the Archimedes principle. Specifically, under thermostatic conditions, fill the Density Cup with the liquid to be tested, weigh the total mass, subtract the weight of the cup body to obtain the liquid mass, and then divide it by the volume of the cup body to obtain the Density value.
Applications
Coatings, inks, paints and other industries
Steps
Clean and drying Density Cup and weigh the empty cup mass (W1).
2. Fill the Density Cup with the liquid to be tested to ensure that the liquid level is flush with the mouth of the cup and there is no bubble.
3. Wipe the liquid overflowing from the outer wall of the cup and weigh the total mass (W2).
4. Calculate liquid mass: W2 - W1.
5. Calculate Density: liquid mass ÷ 50ml (cup volume).
Notice
• Make sure the Density Cup is clean and drying before use.
• Avoid bubbles when injecting liquid, so as not to affect the measurement accuracy.
• Measurements should be made in a thermostatic environment, where temperature changes affect liquid Density.
• Weighing equipment needs to be accurately calibrated.
• After use, it should be cleaned and properly stored.
