Overview
The XIONGFA XF-02 (Stainless Steel) Hall Velocity Meter is a loose-pack Density Meter manufactured according to the GB1482-2010-T standard specification for testing the flow rate and loose-pack Density of metal powders and Non-metallic powders. The instrument is made of stainless steel and other materials, and the construction is stable. It contains a funnel, bracket, base and receiver with specific aperture.
Features
1, made of stainless steel and other materials, with sufficient wall thickness and hardness to prevent deformation and excessive abrasion.
2. Provide two specifications of funnel small holes (φ 2.5 +/- 0.08mm and φ 5 +/- 0.08mm) to meet different testing requirements.
3. The structural design includes brackets, bases, and receivers, which are firmly installed and can be adjusted horizontally.
4. Compliant with GB1482-2010-T national standards, used to replace the old GB1479-84 and GB1482-84 standards.
Principle
The Hall flow meter works on the principle of the standard funnel method. The powder flows freely through a funnel with a standard taper (60 °) and a specific pore size. The flow rate of the powder is calculated by measuring the time it takes for a certain amount of powder (usually 25 ml capacity) to pass through the funnel. Density is calculated in combination with the weight of the powder collected by the receiver.
Applications
Metal powder testing, Non-metallic powder testing
Steps
1. Adjust the base to a level, stable, and vibration-free state.
2. Use the included wrench to adjust and fix the bracket height.
3. Install the selected funnel on the bracket.
4. Place the receiver (stainless steel plate) on the base to collect the powder flowing down.
5. Pour the powder to be tested into the funnel, start the test and record the time.
6. Weigh the weight of the powder in the receiver and calculate the data.
Notice
• Please ensure that the base is level, stable and free of vibration before use.
• Funnel small hole diameter has two specifications: φ 2.5mm and φ 5mm, please choose according to the test requirements.
• When installing brackets and funnels, please use the included tools to fix them to ensure stability.
• Instruments should avoid excessive abrasion and deformation to maintain measurement accuracy.
