Overview
The Dutch TQC LD5850 Powder Coating thickness analyzer is a non-contact, non-Destructiveness measurement instrument for film thickness using photothermal methods. It is designed for the measurement of the thickness of powder coatings on metals and MDF substrates before and after curing. The system consists of a sensor and a monitor connected by a cable. It is lightweight and robust, allowing for fast and accurate measurement.
Features
1. Easy to operate, just point the Probe at the right distance to the surface and press the "measurement" button.
2. Samples of any shape and size can be measured, including borders and edges.
3. Measurement range, Measured value is very accurate.
4. Can measure any metal substrate such as steel, aluminum and Non-metallic substrate such as medium density fiberboard.
5. Suitable for curing or non-curing powder coatings.
Principle
The instrument uses the principle of photothermal method to measure the thickness of the film in a non-contact manner without destroying the surface of the sample. During measurement, the Sensor points to the sample within a specified distance, and the system quickly collects data and displays the thickness reading.
Applications
Coating thickness measurement on metal substrates such as steel, aluminium, Non-metallic substrates such as medium density fiberboards
Steps
1. Point the Probe at a suitable distance to the surface of the measurement item.
2. Press the "measurement" button.
Notice
Make sure the measurement distance is about 35mm.
• Only for all metals and MDF substrates.
• Relative Humidity up to 80% and up to 50% at 32 ° C.
• Storage temperature is 0~ 55 ° C.
• Please read the user manual before use.
