AMITTARI AC-110MC Coating thickness gauge is a battery-powered Portable measuring instrument based on magnetic Induction and eddy Current principles, in line with international standards ISO2178, ISO2360 and national standards GB4956, GB4957. It combines computer technology and nondestructive detection technology to accurately measure Coating thickness without damaging the subject.

Principle
The instrument uses the principle of magnetic Induction and eddy Current to detect the thickness of the cover layer on the surface of magnetically permeable or non-magnetically permeable materials through Probe, and combines computer technology implementation nondestructive measurement to ensure accurate data.
Applications
F-type Probe: Measurement of the thickness of non-magnetically permeable coatings on the surface of magnetically permeable materials (e.g. iron, nickel), including paints, plastics, enamels, copper, aluminum, zinc, chromium, etc., applied to platings, paints layers, enamel layers, aluminum tiles, copper tiles, pasteurized tiles, phosphating layers, Paper thickness, and the thickness of attachments to hull paints and underwater structural parts. Nf-type Probe: Measurement of the thickness of insulating coatings on the surface of non-magnetically permeable metal substrates (e.g. aluminum, copper, zinc, non-magnetic stainless steel), including paints, plastics, rubber coatings, and aluminum or aluminum alloy anodic oxidation layer thickness.

Steps
1. Turn on the power supply, Power Supply/Zero key to calibrate.
2. Place the measurement Sensor on the measured surface to ensure stable contact.
3. Select Single or Continuous Measurement mode for thickness measurement.
4. Read the measurement results on the display.
5. Optional USB cable to communicate with PC for data processing.
Notice
* Operating Ambient Temperature should be 0 ℃~ 50 ℃, Humidity below 95%.
Make sure that the thickness of the substrate is not less than 0.3mm and the radius of curvature meets the requirements (F-type Probe convex 1.5mm/concave 25mm, N-type Probe convex 3mm/concave 50mm).
* The minimum diameter of the measurement surface is φ 26mm.
* Powered by 2 1.5V AAA AA AA batteries, pay attention to battery replacement.
* Avoid use under extreme conditions to avoid affecting Measurement accuracy.
