The AMITTARI AC-990 Coating thickness gauge is a battery-powered Portable measuring instrument that uses magnetic Induction and eddy Current principles to comply with international standards ISO2178, ISO2360 and national standards GB4956 and GB4957. It combines computer technology and nondestructive detection technology to accurately measure Coating thickness without damaging the subject.
1. The spring guide sleeve Probe with wear-resistant hard metal probe is suitable for hard or rough surfaces to ensure stable pressing force and sampling value. 2. Measurement range, high resolution. 3. Automatic memory calibrated value, easy to operate. 4. Integrated structure, small size and light weight. 5. Digital backlight display, ignoring the difference. 6. Optional RS232C software and cable, support communication with PC, realize data collection, processing, analysis and printing. 7. Equipped with automatic shutdown function, saving energy and electricity.
The AMITTARI AC-990 Coating thickness gauge is based on the principle of magnetic Induction and eddy Current for nondestructive testing. The F-type Probe uses magnetic Induction measurement to measure the thickness of the non-magnetically permeable coating on the surface of magnetically permeable materials (such as iron, nickel); the NF-type Probe uses eddy Current measurement to measure the thickness of the insulating coating on the non-magnetically permeable metal substrate (such as aluminum, copper). Thickness data can be accurately obtained without destroying the measured body.
F Probe applications: platings, paints layer, enamel layer, aluminum tile, copper tile, Babbitt tile, phosphating layer, Paper thickness measurement, hull paints and underwater structural parts attachment thickness measurement. NF Probe applications: aluminum, copper, zinc, non-magnetic stainless steel and other materials surface paints, plastic, rubber Coating thickness measurement, aluminum or aluminum alloy material anodic oxidation layer thickness measurement.
ISO2178、ISO2360、GB4956、GB4957
1. Turn on the power button to start the instrument. 2. Select F-type or NF-type Probe according to the tested material. 3. Align the measurement Sensor with the measured surface for measurement. 4. Read the thickness data on the display. 5. Optional connection USB interface and PC communication for data processing. 6. Press the power button to turn off or wait for the automatic shutdown after use.
Make sure the battery is fully charged and use a 2 * 1.5vAAA 7 #battery. * Keep Probe vertical and apply steady pressure during measurement. * Avoid use in extreme temperatures (Operating temperature 0~ 50 ℃) or high Humidity (relative humidity < 95%) environments. Measurement accuracy is regularly calibrated. Clean Probe after use to prevent damage. Avoid heavy pressure or impact when storing.
