GB/T 31727-2015
Test method for attrition rate of transparent plastic film

This standard specifies a test method for evaluating the degree of damage, such as haze or loss of gloss, caused by friction on the surface of transparent plastic films, commonly referred to as "abrasion marring." The core of the method involves using a specialized film abrasion tester, which repeatedly rubs the surface of the sample with a standard friction wheel under specified load and motion speed. The evaluation is primarily based on quantitative measurement of light transmittance, where the film’s resistance to abrasion marring is assessed by comparing changes in light transmittance before and after the test. For printed films, visual comparison with standard reference images may also be used for assessment.
