GB/T 18856.1-2008
Test methods for quality of coal water mixture - Part 1:Sampling

This standard serves as the initial and foundational part of a series of standards for quality testing of coal water slurry. It specifies representative methods for sampling coal water slurry from static or dynamic transportation containers (such as tank trucks, railway tank cars, and storage tanks) and pipelines. The standard covers the entire process, including sampling tools, sampling points, sampling procedures, and sample handling (such as mixing and reduction) and preservation, aiming to ensure that the collected samples accurately reflect the quality condition of the entire batch of coal water slurry. This standard is managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Coal (TC42) and was implemented on April 1, 2009, replacing the previous version from 2002. According to information from the National Standard Information Public Service Platform, it was confirmed as "continuing to be valid" after a review in 2016 and currently remains an active national standard.
