Anchor Stirrer

Anchor stirrers rotate with anchor-shaped blades close to the container wall, generating circumferential and radial flows. They are used for mixing, heat transfer, and preventing sedimentation of medium- to high-viscosity materials. They are commonly found in reactors and mixing equipment in the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries.
Selection
Select the gap between the paddle and the kettle wall based on the material viscosity, with a small gap chosen for high viscosity. Match the speed range according to process requirements, and consider heat transfer needs in conjunction with jacket design. Choose stainless steel or carbon steel for materials based on corrosiveness, and select the shaft sealing method according to pressure.
