Varnish Oven

The varnish oven generates a constant temperature environment through electric heating, allowing the varnish solvent coated on the surface of the substrate to evaporate and cure into shape. This equipment is used to determine the drying time, hardness, and heat resistance of varnish, and is commonly employed for quality inspection of surface coatings on items such as furniture and automotive parts.
Selection
When selecting, ensure the inner chamber volume matches the sample size. Set the temperature range according to the type of varnish (commonly from room temperature to 300℃), and pay attention to the insulation performance of the chamber and temperature uniformity. A temperature control accuracy of ±1℃ is recommended, and over-temperature protection is required. A stainless steel inner chamber and explosion-proof design are suitable for solvent-based varnish testing.

Temperature gradient control in high-temperature ovens during thermal resistance testing.
The heat resistance test simulates the performance of materials under high temperatures using a high-temperature oven, and the accuracy of its results is highly dependent on the uniformity of temperature inside the oven. What are the differences between a vacuum oven and a conventional oven?
The main difference between a vacuum oven and a conventional oven lies in their working pressure. Conventional ovens operate at atmospheric pressure, heating through air convection, making them suitable for routine drying tasks. In contrast, vacuum ovens are evacuated to low pressure to reduce air presence, primarily relying on thermal radiation for heat transfer. This makes them ideal for processing heat-sensitive, oxidation-prone materials or those requiring thorough drying.
