Wet Film Gauge

A wet film gauge applies paint onto a substrate using a toothed scraper to create stripes of varying wet film thickness, enabling rapid determination of the wet film thickness during paint application. During operation, the stripe position where the tooth grooves are completely covered is observed, and the corresponding scale indicates the wet film thickness value. It is used for on-site construction quality control and estimation of paint consumption.
Selection
