TDS Water Testing Instrument

TDS water quality testers measure the total dissolved solids content in water using a conductivity probe. The higher the concentration of dissolved solids, the stronger the electrical conductivity, and the instrument converts the electrical signal into a TDS value for display. It is used to detect the concentration of dissolved substances in drinking water and swimming pool water, and is applied in the replacement of water purifier filter cartridges and the monitoring of water quality in aquaculture.
Selection
When selecting, ensure the measurement range covers common water quality levels from 0 to 1000 ppm, with accuracy controlled within ±2%. Prioritize models with automatic temperature compensation and replaceable electrodes. For portability, choose a pen-style device; for fixed monitoring, opt for a benchtop model with data logging capabilities. Check the probe material, as graphite electrodes are more corrosion-resistant than stainless steel.
