Type D Rubber Hardness Tester

The Type D rubber durometer measures hardness by pressing a needle into the rubber surface under spring force and converting the penetration depth into a hardness value. It is used to determine the hardness of harder materials such as rubber and plastics, and is widely applied in quality inspections of products like tires and seals.
Selection
Select the indenter size based on the thickness of the material being tested, determine the measurement range according to the testing standard, ensure the sample shape matches the support platform, calibrate and compensate for the effects of ambient temperature, and configure operational convenience and data recording functions as needed.
