Hot Melt Adhesive Coating Metering Rod

The hot melt adhesive coating metering rod controls the transfer amount of adhesive through grooves engraved on its surface, forming an even coating on the substrate. It is used to adjust the coating thickness and is suitable for hot melt adhesive coating processes in labels and packaging materials.
Selection
When selecting, consider the compatibility between the substrate type and the rod diameter based on coating speed, determine the groove depth according to the viscosity of the adhesive, choose the groove shape based on the required coating thickness, and select stainless steel or chrome-plated material in combination with equipment compatibility.
