Coating Glossiness Meter

The gloss meter determines gloss by measuring the ratio of reflected luminous flux to refracted luminous flux on the coating surface. It is used to evaluate the reflective properties of coating surfaces and control the appearance quality in industries such as automotive and furniture.
Selection
When selecting, consider matching the measurement angle to the sample's gloss range: use a 20° angle for high-gloss surfaces and an 85° angle for matte surfaces. Ensure the instrument complies with ISO 2813 standards and verify the traceability certificate of the calibration plate. Choose between portable or benchtop models based on the usage scenario.
