Combustible gas LEL alarm

The combustible gas LEL (Lower Explosive Limit) alarm detects the concentration of combustible gases in the air using a catalytic combustion sensor. When gas contacts the platinum wire element, an oxidation reaction occurs, causing the bridge circuit to become unbalanced and triggering the alarm. It is used in locations such as petrochemical plants and painting workshops, where there is a risk of combustible gas leakage, to achieve safety monitoring.
Selection
When selecting, confirm the type of gas to be detected, and prioritize sensors based on the catalytic combustion principle. Ensure that the explosion-proof rating matches the on-site environment, and review the calibration certificate from the metrological authority.
