Integrating NepheloMeter

The integral turbidimeter determines turbidity by measuring the total scattering intensity of incident light by suspended particles in a liquid. When light irradiates the sample, particles scatter the light in all directions, and the instrument collects all scattered light except in the 90° direction for integral calculation. It is used to monitor the turbidity of liquids in water treatment, beverage clarity, and industrial process control.
Selection
When selecting, consider the measurement range to cover changes in sample turbidity; choose a high-sensitivity model for low-turbidity samples. Match the sample characteristics by selecting an appropriate combination of light source and detector, with quartz glass material suitable for corrosive liquids. A temperature compensation function is needed to address environmental changes, portable models are suitable for on-site testing, and online models are used for continuous monitoring.
