Metal Coating Thickness Meter

A metal coating thickness gauge measures the thickness of non-conductive coatings on metal substrates using the principles of magnetic induction or eddy currents. The probe contacts the coating surface, causing changes in the magnetic field, which the instrument converts and displays as a thickness value. It is used for quality control and acceptance testing of coatings in processes such as electroplating and spraying.
