Paint Coating Blade

The paint applicator is a metal rod with grooves, used to create a wet film on a substrate by scraping. The groove depth controls the film thickness, enabling the testing of coating properties such as hiding power and leveling. It is suitable for paint production and quality inspection processes.
Selection
Select the number of grooves based on the testing standards, and determine the groove depth range according to the coating thickness requirements. Choose the rod material considering the substrate flatness, and select the coating speed based on the paint viscosity. Verify the compatibility between the rod precision and the sample to be tested.
