Pinhole Leakage Detector

The pinhole detector identifies defects in coatings or films using the principle of high-voltage discharge. A needle-shaped electrode moves across the material's surface, generating an arc when encountering pores, which triggers an alarm. It is used to detect tiny holes in materials such as plastic films, metal coatings, and waterproof membranes to ensure sealing integrity.
Selection
When selecting a pinhole detector, consider material thickness and conductivity. Use high-voltage DC types for non-conductive materials and low-voltage types for conductive materials. Choose the electrode length based on the detection width and select a matching model according to the production speed.
