Rotary Torque Meter

A rotational viscometer measures material viscosity and rheology by detecting the torque on a rotating shaft. It uses a motor to drive a rotor spinning in the sample, with sensors recording resistance torque data. It is applied in viscosity control of coatings and inks, adhesive curing tests, and analysis of plastic melt flow characteristics.
Selection
When selecting, consider that the measurement range covers the torque value of the sample, and the speed control must match the shear rate of the material. The temperature control system should adapt to the experimental environment, and the fixture specifications must correspond to the sample container. Data acquisition accuracy should meet the testing standards, and the equipment materials must be resistant to sample corrosion.
