Chlorine Gas Moisture Tester

The chlorine moisture analyzer detects water content in chlorine gas through electrolysis or capacitance methods. The electrolysis method converts moisture into an electric current to calculate concentration, while the capacitance method utilizes changes in dielectric constant caused by water molecules. It is used to monitor the dryness of chlorine gas, preventing equipment corrosion and chemical reaction failures, and finds applications in the chlor-alkali industry and water treatment.
Selection
When selecting, pay attention to the corrosiveness of chlorine gas, requiring corrosion-resistant materials such as Hastelloy. Choose electrolytic type (for low concentrations) or capacitive type (for wide ranges) based on the moisture range and accuracy. Consider explosion-proof ratings, response speed, and include pretreatment to filter impurities. Compare calibration methods and maintenance costs.
