The LANDTEK SRT-6210 Roughness Gauge is a surface roughness inspection instrument used in the production site. It is equipped with a 10mm blue backlit LCD display and can measure four parameters of Ra, Rz, Rq and Rt. Measurement accuracy is not greater than +/- 10%. The instrument adopts the Inductance Measurement principle, the measuring needle is a diamond material with a radius of 5 microns, excellent Hardness, built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery and has an automatic shutdown function to extend Battery life.

During the SRT-6210 Roughness Gauge measurement, the Sensor is placed on the surface of the workpiece to be measured, and the internal drive mechanism drives the Sensor to slide at constant speed. The built-in sharp stylus senses the surface roughness of the Sensor, which causes the displacement of the stylus, changes the Inductance of the Sensor Inductance coil, and generates an analog signal proportional to the asperity at the output of the phase sensitive rectifier. The signal is amplified and level converted into the data collection system, and the DSP chip performs digital filtering and parameter calculation. The final result is displayed on the LCD.
