Overview
The Defelsko PosiTector 6000 FTS1 steel plate Coating thickness gauge is a split Coating thickness gauge for external thick coatings. Measurement range is 0~ 6mm, mainly suitable for epoxy, rubber, foam fire-proof coatings and other fields. The instrument uses a high-contrast color LCD screen, which can store 1000 data, supports USB and Bluetooth interfaces to connect to a PC to transmit data, and can realize remote measurement by extending the length of the Probe cable.

Principle
The instrument works based on the principle of magnetic Induction and achieves measurement by detecting thickness changes of nonmagnetic coatings on ferrous metal substrates.

Steps
1. Install 3 AAA alkaline batteries
2. Connect the FTS1 Probe
3. On the ferrous metal substrate calibrated
4. Probe placed on the surface of the coating to be tested for measurement
5. Connect to PC to transfer data through USB or Bluetooth interface
6. Data analysis using PosiSoft software

Only for nonmagnetic coating measurements on ferrous metal substrates
• Must be calibrated before measurement to ensure accuracy
• Avoid use in extreme temperatures or Humidity environments
• Regularly check the battery level to ensure normal operation
• Pay attention to moisture and dust when storing
