Overview
The Defelsko PosiTector 6000 Coating thickness gauge is a nondestructive testing instrument produced by Defelsko in the United States, dedicated to high thickness coating measurement. The Probe is made of wear-resistant aluminum alloy with braided cable, which is suitable for high temperature and rough surfaces. The instrument is designed with a split structure to extend the length of the Probe cable for remote measurement. The standard host can store 2500 readings.

Principle
Coating thickness measurement using magnetic Induction and eddy Current Measurement principles. Coating thickness measurement is achieved by nondestructive testing of coatings through Probe.

• Measurement range is determined by Probe, please choose the appropriate Probe according to actual needs
• The error range depends on the Probe, pay attention to the Probe accuracy when using it
• It needs to be calibrated before use to ensure measurement accuracy
Probe cables can be extended in length, but attention should be paid to signal attenuation
• Regularly check the battery power to ensure normal use
• Be careful not to exceed 2500 readings when storing data
