Overview
HCH-2000C Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a Portable measurement device with a measurement range of 0.7-199 mm and a display accuracy of 0.1mm. The instrument is made of new digital electronic technology and microcomputer technology inside, and a metal case outside. It has the characteristics of small size, low power consumption, strong function, anti-drop, anti-vibration, and intuitive touch button operation.

Principle
The instrument uses the ultrasonic Measurement principle. Probe emits ultrasonic pulses to the material under test and receives echoes reflected from the bottom surface of the material. The instrument calculates the thickness of the material based on the speed of sound propagation in the material and the time interval between transmitting and receiving echoes.

Steps
1. Turn it on and check the battery level.
2. Set the correct Speed of sound value (range 1000~ 9990m/s) according to the tested material.
3. Clean the tested surface and apply a coupling agent to ensure good coupling.
4. The Probe is smoothly coupled to the measured point.
5. Observe the coupling status display to ensure good coupling and read and record the thickness value.
If you need to save data, you can store it manually (up to 600 values).
7. After use, the instrument will automatically shut down after five minutes of standby.
Notice
• Ensure that the tested surface is clean and apply a coupling agent to obtain accurate measurement results and a good coupling status display.
• According to the Speed of sound characteristics of the measured material, set the Speed of sound value correctly on the instrument.
• Instrument Ambient Temperature -10~ 60 ℃, relative humidity should be less than 90% RH.
• Please use 1.2~ 1.5V alkaline battery or rechargeable battery power supply.
• The instrument will automatically shut down after five minutes of standby to save power.
• Data storage is manual, please pay attention to save important Measured values in time.
• The measurement error is +/- (1% H +/- 0.1) mm, where H is the measured thickness value.
