The PUSHEN LPQ 100-1000 levelling tester is used to evaluate the levelling performance of paints. Smoothness on the surface of Dry-Film and reduction of unevenness such as brush marks and spray points. The instrument measures the levelling performance by observing the convergence of stripes of different thicknesses of the Spreader.

Principle

The instrument produces 5 pairs of stripes of different thickness on the surface of the tested paints through grooves. After keeping the test plate horizontal, the stripes are observed to be together. When the two stripes are together but the middle interval is vaguely visible, the corresponding gap is the levelling position.
