Overview
The TR 3080/1 Levelling Applicator is an instrument for the measurement of coating surface levelling, commonly used for quality control and evaluation of coatings such as coatings, paints, varnishes, etc. It is made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel materials with good durability and accuracy. This Levelling Applicator is designed to meet ASTM 2801 standards for measuring the flow of coatings in 2D state when wet-film is placed horizontally in order to select a suitable painting state by controlling the physical performance of the coating.
Features
1. Made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel with good durability
Designed to meet ASTM 2801 standards to ensure measurement accuracy
3. Coating, paints, varnish and other coatings for leveling measurement
4. Provide a variety of film Film thickness specifications to choose from (100-200-300-500-1000 μm)
Principle
The TR 3080/1 Levelling Applicator evaluates coating surface leveling by measuring the flow of the coating in the 2D state when the wet-film is placed horizontally. The instrument measures coating surface leveling according to the method specified in the ASTM 2801 standard to help the user select the appropriate painting state by controlling the physical performance of the coating.
Applications
Coatings, paints, varnish coatings quality control and evaluation
Steps
1. Place the Levelling Applicator on a horizontal surface
2. Prepare Coating Samples for Testing
3. Select the appropriate specifications according to the required film Film thickness
4. Perform measurements according to the method specified in ASTM 2801
5. Observe and record the flow of Coatings
6. Evaluate coating surface leveling
Notice
• Make sure the instrument is placed on a horizontal surface before use
• Select the appropriate film Film thickness specifications according to actual needs
• Operate in strict accordance with the methods specified in the ASTM 2801 standard
• Keep the instrument clean to avoid corrosion and abrasion
• Clean the surface of the instrument in time after use
