QCJ-120A Paint Film Impactor is a SHIBO brand product. It is used for the impact resistance test of paint film expressed by the maximum height of 120 cm when a fixed mass heavy hammer falls on the test plate without causing damage to the paint film. After the impact head of this instrument impacts the test plate, there is no secondary rebound phenomenon.

Principle
The weight with the hook is fixed at the required height by the controller screw, and its height, that is, the height reticle shown by the scale of the slide cylinder, coincides with the positioning mark line. Press the control screw to compress the controller spring. At this time, the round hole of the control slider is aligned with the round hole of the upper cover of the controller and the lower bottom of the controller to make the hook peeling. The weight falls and hits the punch rod. The punch rod acts downward on the test plate that has been placed on the pillow pad in advance. After that, lift the weight body and take out the test plate to observe the paint film test situation on the test plate.

Steps
1. Placement of the test plate: Place the prepared test plate on the pillow pad block, and close to the pillow pad concave hole, with the paint film facing up, so that the impact point is not less than 15mm away from the edge of the test plate, or in the middle of the test plate. If a test plate is used for several tests, each Impact point edge should be not less than 15mm apart.
2. Heavy hammer delivery height setting: Loosen the controller screws at the same time, and the control device can move up and down according to the slides on both sides of the slide. According to the test requirements, when taking the height first, please coincide the engraved line on the positioning mark with the scale line of the slide, and tighten and fix the controller screws.
3. Test execution: Press the control screw, the weight falls freely on the punch rod, and the punch rod transmits the Impact force to the test plate on the pillow pad. Lift the weight up, the controller hangs the hook on the weight hammer, and removes the test plate. Observe with 4 times magnifying glass to determine whether the paint film is crazing, wrinkling and flaking.
Notice
• When the test plate is placed, the paint film should be facing up, and the impact point should be not less than 15mm from the edge of the test plate.
• If a test plate is used for several tests, the edge of each Impact point should be not less than 15mm apart.
• The specific test method shall be subject to the relevant provisions in the standard.
