Overview
Model QCJ-120A paint film impact test is used for paint film impact resistance test expressed by the maximum height of 120 cm when a fixed mass of heavy hammer falls on the test plate without causing damage to the paint film. After the impact head of this instrument impacts the test plate, there is no secondary rebound phenomenon.
Features
1. Impact height 120 cm, Graduation 1 cm
2. Drop weight mass 1000 grams
3. Punch diameter φ 16mm
4. Impact depth 2.5mm
5. The aperture of the die base is φ 15 mm
6. Radius of curvature R2.5-3 mm
7. No secondary rebound phenomenon
Principle
The weight with the hook is fixed at the required height by the controller screw, and its height, that is, the height line shown in the scale of the slide barrel, coincides with the positioning mark line. Press the control screw to compress the controller spring. At this time, the round hole of the control slider is aligned with the round hole of the upper cover of the controller and the lower bottom of the controller to make the hook peeling. The weight falls and hits the punch rod. The punch rod acts down on the test plate placed on the pillow pad in advance.
Applications
Paint film impact resistance test, coating surface impact performance test
Standards
GB/T 5237.4-2000、GB/T1732—93、ASTM D2794-92
Steps
1. Fix the weight at the required height
2. Press the control screw to make the hook peeling
3. The hammer falls and hits the punch
Step 4 Lift the weight
5. Take out the test plate and observe the paint film test
Notice
• Ensure that the Impact Height Marks coincide with the Positioning Marks
• Pay attention to safety when pressing the control screw
• Take out the test plate in time for observation after the test
• Keep the instrument clean
